Welcome to the land of Atkasia, the setting of my most recent Advanced Dungeons and Dragons campaign. At this site you will, as a gamer, hopefully be fully informed as to the intricate details of this campaign, which include the history of Atkasia, the current status of Atkasia (what the situation will be when the player characters begin their quest) and summaries of the various characters.
Atkasia has a fascinating history beginning thousands of years ago. From the beginnings of religion and the division of magic, and to the forming of nations and the advent of the beast tamers, there is much to learn and know. The happenings in Atkasia's history will have an impact (some more than others) on the course of the party's adventure through (and possibly beyond) this mystical land.
A giant web of turmoil has fallen over Atkasia due to quarrels between neighboring nations, doings of the church, prejudices among races and economic trouble and trade disputes between rival guilds. These attributes of Atkasia, as well as many others, are discussed in full in the page entitled "Atkasia's Current State." The player characters must find their way through these predicaments if they wish to make a name for themselves in the land of Atkasia.
Information on the player characters, including their races, classes and backrounds is given in the character section. Despite a mistake I have made in previous campaigns, all the PCs are fairly familiar with each other. This should make things go more smoothly, as the characters should be more inclined to work together and accomplish things rather than squabble amongst themselves.
