Walev Biec is the High Priest of the Alhanric Church. He rules his spiritual empire from Kur Naraan, an independant city-state that has been the location of the chruch for centuries. Biec seems to be more interested in worldly affairs such as ruling, maintaining an army and attracting new followers than practicing his religion, but he also appears to be a devout Alhanrist, so no one questions him. He is on constant terms (good and bad) with various nations, Avrimoire in particular. He sometimes threatens Kiltanri VI with excommunication, but the king never is moved by any of Biec's bluffs. For Biec's sake, he is glad Kiltanri is an Alhanrist; he could crush the church with one swipe is he desired.
Biec is a man of average height, and is somewhat overweight. He wears a white and grey robe and has fairly long grey hair. The skin on his face is loose, and he clears his throat often.
